Mission

Bangana Medical Foundation is a Ghanaian and American-led nonprofit organization that aims to educate and empower African youth in improving health outcomes for all Africans through world class medical education.

Vision

We work towards a vision of Ghana with empowered, competent and skillful African medical providers who practice current evidence-based medicine and improve health outcomes for rural and urban Ghana. We envision a strengthened independence and health of African people through the creation of our renowned physician assistant medical education institute and research center in rural Ghana.


Goals

1. Create nationally-accredited medical education university for physician assistants in Debibi, Ghana

2. Build clinic on university campus for local community and physician assistant student training

3. Educate Ghanaians and other Africans to serve as physician assistants for Africa

4. Recruit African and international faculty to provide evidence-based medical didactic and clinical training

5. Partner with United States-based Medical University (sister school) for exchange of knowledge 

6. Provide health care access and education to rural Ghanaians to improve health outcomes

7. Create medical research center to bridge allopathic and traditional Ghanaian herbal medicine with evidence-based research
